selfless or selfish....!!!

In our lives , we face certain situations which we wish would be better off had they not happened..

Going back in time and changing them all over again is obviously not a feasible option unless you have an anachronous time machine...

Being an altruist at one point of time to being selfish at some other point , we often see ourselves swaying with our character..which is not pleasing....

The day our lives will peter out and when we go to heaven , we'll realise what all we did , how we acted...

Being selfless

There is no limit to the success a man can achieve if he doesn't care who gets the credit...

and Being selfish...!!!

When you are gearing up for a job or a task and you say to yourself that , it is this task that needs itself to be completed , so it is for the job/task that I'll do anything...

I believe what all we do , how we act , how we behave , we shall never regret our actions..

Doing something which leaves us with a life lasting regret is very painful when you look back and review this journey , Life...

Being so self obsessed with success that you stop being yourself..

This is I am sure no one of us wants to be the case of..

Success is not measured by how much you are praised , but how much you are missed...

If you are selfish , you may often get praised..but

If you are selflessly hardworking , you'll always be missed...

Anger And Love Have No Limits ..!!

Princess of a royal kingdom , she definitely should not have done this , or so thought her parents.

She was a gifted girl and loved the prince of the neighbouring town but they knew that they were not

supposed to meet due to the hierarchial rivalry between their families....

"Whatever she'll say will eventually come true", said the queen to the king ..

"It's too big a boon for her to handle , it may work against , i mean.....she is still very young", the king said...

He continued , " We should not tell her about all this. "

Yes , that was why I said that the girl was a gifted child,,

They , the king and the queen used to make the princess meditate during those 5 minutes of the

day when the heavenly could occur...

Whatever she would say would come true before she turns 20...

There were only 24 such days in an year , 2 days in a month...

" She is 19 now , I think we should tell her now , she is responsible enough " , the queen was saying

to the king when it struck the ear of the princess....

"Yes , I would ask for mine and his marriage without any battle and violence between our families", the princess wondered...

As the princess was discussing it with her friends , it came to the notice of her parents...

"I think we should have a talk with her before she misuses it", the king mused..and called the princess..

after having conversed with the princess , the king came to know what was she upto..

during the conversation , princess also got to know about those two miraculous days in a month when such a thing could occur...

The king thought of killing the prince of the neighbouring town and finish it , once and for all...

The war started 10 days before the day on which a miracle can possibly happen..

The king made innumerable attempts to kill the prince by hook or by crook..

but as was destined , he failed each time..

"I think we should run away and ask for our marriage and bring the war to a halt..", said the princess to the prince...!!

2 days to go now ........

Both the families speeded up the hunt..

With both the kings being awre of the consequences , the search became intense...

EVENTUALLY , the search ended

The father of the princess wanted to kill the prince ,, and the father of the prince wanted to kill the princess...

"You want total control over our kingdom , that's why your son played a game with my daughter " , said the princess' father...

"Your daughter is a heavenly child , you can seek undue advantage and make a mockery of my son ..

Today I'll kill your daughter and finish it all ", said the prince's father....

The altercation continued for quite a while as time approached near...

As the time came up , both the kings stood with their weapons targeted...

As they shot , the princess said only two words .....

Those two words caused an irrepairable disaster...

She said , " SWAP TARGETS "....

both the kings killed their respective children and were dumbstruck at destiny's game...

They were so madly riveted in their rivalry that they failed to realise that their children were going to be killed anyways and it turned out even dirtier.....

ANGER AND LOVE HAVE NO LIMITS ..!!

Or Else We May Lose Out.....

Quite often in life , we come across situations which prompt us to think , why did we take a certain course of action ..??

Sometimes out of anger , sometimes out of hysteria , somtimes due to intuition , sometimes due to peer pressure , sometimes due to.....

compilation of all the " due to's " continues ....

But what is Important is that these impulsive actions of ours may leave us with a regret that may last a lifetime ...

There is 1 thing I strongly feel , Whatever you do in your life , you should be bold and confident enough to take up the responsibility for that...

We often shy away from accepting our mistakes...

Though many of us won't accept this publicly, but then whom are we lying to ...?? To the outside world OR To ourselves ... ????

Refraining to take responsibility for a job that has fared pathetically highlights the lack of mental strength...

It is only when we ACTUALLY... start taking responsibility that we will realise how strong , how capable and how ExtraOrdinary we are...

I again maintain that this post may not have altered your way of thinking that much but then

there is 1 thing or thought , we all are in resonance with .....

" How adept or dexterous we may be , there are certain things in life which need to be taken CARE of ..

And for those things , we need to be responsible , or else......."

It Has To Be From Within

This is Animesh Ganguly currently into NSIT pursuing Electronics and Communication Engineering and in my 3rd year....

I wondered quite a few times that what is it that I have been actually aiming for . Never did I get an answer so convincing and so worthy for me to fall upon . For the past few months I have been in a dilemma , a dilemma I suppose very few of us ( by us I mean those of my age group) bypass . They are those who are very certain about their career options .

The dilemma was.... whether trying for an MBA... or an M.Tech... or just placements...

"I always believe that you are better than u believe , stronger than u suppose and then u always have God on your side to help you out..."

The best answer came from within...

Let me not discuss what I am aiming for because this post is just for those who are still very confused about what to do...

Whether you go for an MBA or an M.Tech or just placements , is not important , what holds the key is the fact that if you are harnessing your energy in the right direction and in the right way , then you are bound to succeed...

I'd like to re-iterate ," If you are a star , you'll always shine despite of the clouds "...

And this is what matters . Doesn't it ???

Attitude will always be the key in whatever you do...

I may not have the experience to guide you through ..

Neither do I have a writer in me who'll motivate you enough to select your career option

but 1 thing I suppose everyone of us have in common and that is the fact that

"Whatever we do now , we will always remember , so why not do something that fetches us with tons of happiness and success galore "....

I'll conclude by saying that this post may not have helped you a great deal but writing is something by which you can procure mental satisfaction and relaxation..

So , whenever you are in a state of hysteria or dismay in the face of obstacles , just b stoical and PEN DOWN YOUR MIND...
